Greetings from deep east Texas! Welcome to DPS Mustang.com! My name is Roman and I am a 11 year veteran of the Texas Department of Public Safety. I am a state police radio operator and highway patrol dispatcher. This site has been built to provide you with some basic information and pictures of Police Package and Special Service Mustangs used by the Texas Highway Patrol and a few other local police agencies. The Texas Department of Public Safety's interest in the police package (or "special service") Ford Mustang dates back to 1983 and on this site is a rare, personal collection of pictures of these fine little cars. Your visit here is important and I hope you enjoy this site and the photos I have provided. I have made a big effort not to have pictures on this site that you have seen elsewhere.
